FAQ
Could you please clarify what plan on your pricing list every Appsumo tier is mapped to?
All plans (on App Sumo and on my website) all offer the same features and benefits. The only difference is the number of generated blog posts per month.
I was excited to try it out, but keep getting the message “Uh oh. Something went wrong.”
I’m sorry about that. This could sometimes happen if you use a video that doesn’t have audio, is private, etc. If you could message me in Video To Blog (via the help button) I’d be happy to help figure out why exactly this happened.
In case of Tier 1 with 10 blogposts per month, at which moment will it consume from the 10 available?
At the moment of create, but you can regenerate a blog post as many times as you want so you don’t get a “bad” result.
Does the AI model being used have current data? What AI model is used?
The AI will only use information in the video (we do this by design to prevent hallucinations). For current events, you can add custom instructions. We are currently using GPT-4o-mini.
Is it possible to upload videos directly instead of using a YouTube link?
Yes, there already is that ability.
Can I translate the blog into another language?
Yes, under the “more options” there is a field to specify a language for the blog to be written in.
How can I add more context or specify other speakers in the video?
You can add all of the additional content and specify speakers in the custom instructions. Writing clear, concise instructions is always the best.
Does the tool support other languages like French?
It works great with just about any/every language including French.
Can you provide more details on the export options?
Exporting to PDF and Word doc are included in any subscription plan. If you have issues accessing these features, ensure your license is activated.
If the video is 1hr to 1.5hr, how do you suggest we get the best blogs if we need more than 2500 characters?
You can use our time range feature to tell the AI to only look at a particular portion of the video. Alternatively, you can split the blog into multiple parts.
Is there any difference between tier 3 and tier 1 beyond the number of publications?
No, all tiers have the same functionality; the only difference is the number of generated blog posts per month.
Can I specify a custom domain for my blogs?
Currently, we offer share links as a quick way to share generated blog articles on our site, but they are not indexed on Google. Most users export to their own website. We may add the capability if there’s enough demand.
Can the tool post directly to platforms like WordPress and Medium?
Yes, you can publish straight to WordPress and Medium.
Will AI-generated content show up on Google search, or will Google bypass it?
Whether a post is indexed by Google has to do with your website settings. Humanizer will work to bypass AI detectors, and we do have blogs indexed by Google.
