How can I access the settings if the shortcut doesn’t work?

You can always access Settings by right-clicking on the widget or the application icon in the tray, and finding them in the drop-down menu!

What languages can Pismo translate?

Pismo can translate a wide range of languages, including major languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, and regional languages like Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Hebrew, as well as less common languages and classical languages like Latin and Ancient Greek.

Can I use Pismo on more than one computer?

Yes, you can use Pismo on all of your devices, it isn’t bound to a specific one. Please note that each account is intended for use by a single individual. The sharing, sublicensing, or resale of accounts is strictly prohibited.

Does Pismo work as a browser extension?

Pismo is not a browser extension but rather a separately launched app, which you can use with any other program to translate, proofread and generally work with text.

Can I use Pismo for both short and long-form copy?

Pismo can handle long and short form copywriting, when provided with the proper prompts.

How does Pismo handle user data privacy?

Pismo captures text only when the user activates the shortcut or clicks on the widget, never storing or processing the texts you work with beyond the session.

Can Pismo generate text in languages other than English by default?

You can ask Pismo to respond in any language, including Spanish, by submitting the request as a prompt.

Can I customize the keyboard shortcuts for Pismo?

We are working on an update that will add the feature to change the hotkey combination for Pismo, along with other quality-of-life improvements.

Will there be updates to include new AI models in the future?

Pismo is planned to be updated to the latest models as soon as they become available to us.

Does Pismo integrate within the UI of Outlook desktop?

Pismo runs within its own interface and currently does not support integration with the UI of other apps.

What is the maximum character count for each request?

While Pismo is designed to handle a large amount of text, there may be practical limits depending on the complexity and length of the content. Processing text in smaller sections is recommended for optimal performance.

Can I use Pismo with a mobile or web platform?

We are currently focused on the desktop version, without any immediate plans for mobile or web support.

Is voice input a planned feature for Pismo?

On Mac OS, you can use the built-in system functionality. For Windows, it’s not part of our immediate plans but may be considered in the future.

Is Pismo comparable to Grammarly?

In short – it can be. Both apps aim to help produce error-free text, with different approaches to achieving this. It’s up to the user to decide which fits their needs better.
