Can I record my own voice or upload a voiceover for the tutorials?
AI text to voice is a feature we are focusing on initially. The ability to upload your own voice is planned for future updates after AI voiceover is released. Meanwhile, video export, which is due by the end of this month, will allow you to add any voice or background music you prefer using your own video editor.
Is this tool limited to web applications, or can I record tutorials in desktop applications too?
You can use our Mac app to create guides for desktop applications, and a Windows app is currently in development. Browser-based recording is not the only option.
Can I create mobile demos with Guidejar?
As of now, creating mobile demos isn’t possible. We may consider a mobile app in the future, but it is not a priority at the moment.
How many monthly paying customers do you have, and what is your plan for growth?
Details on the number of paying customers are not provided, and as for growth plans, it’s important to focus on unique selling propositions to avoid the pitfalls that have affected some LTD companies, such as unsustainable server costs.
When is MP4 export coming? How can I select how viewers see my finished product?
You can control the appearance of your shared links through the ‘Views’ field in Settings or the customize popup. MP4 export will be available by the end of January.

You can find examples on our YouTube channel and through explainer videos made by affiliates. The links to these resources are provided on our official website and help center.
How does feedback collection work? Can I see an example?
Feedback collection currently allows for reactions. We are working on a commenting feature to enable verbal feedback on the guides. A guide with feedback reactions is available in our help center as an example.
Are embedded guides GDPR compliant? Do they drop cookies on user’s clients?
We do not use cookies to track viewers of your guides in any way, so there are no GDPR concerns related to tracking and cookies.
Is there a blur feature for the recordings?
Yes, you can edit your guide and blur sensitive information using the ‘Edit image’ option on each step’s screenshot.
