FAQ

Do you have or plan to have any support group on Facebook Discord or elsewhere?

We have a support site at https://support.dmarcreport.com – are you asking for a forum? Yes, we don’t currently have a forum or FB group yet but it’s a great idea to foster community.

Does the software do the DMARC work, (and all the other security for email delivery) or does it just provide reports?

You implement DKIM/DMARC/SPF with your hosting provider. This solution is used for monitoring and handling related reports.

If I add 6 codes to my existing one, will that result in the 300 domains?

Yes

A few days ago I bought the “single” package with 75,000 emails per month. I just realized that it’s not enough for me. What should I do?

Buy another “single” package or a “double.” You can add that to your account on DMARCreport after you buy it.

No answers to recent questions does not build my confidence – how could this help me with the Gmail/Yahoo upcoming changes?

We provide reports that help you configure your email settings correctly to handle these changes.

If my domain is xyz.com, and I see spoofing emails in my sales@xyz.com inbox from sales@xyz.com and similar variations, can it stop that? If yes, how logically?

Yes. A DMARC policy will let the recipient’s email server know what to do when emails come from a source other than those explicitly permitted in DMARC via alignment of SPF and DKIM.

If needed to add a block of email messages to my current plan… how much would that cost coming direct through DMARC-report once this current deal has ended?

You will be able to buy at the same price for lifetime, or for a very low amount monthly.

I have my DMARC already set up with Google Workspace. Do I need to change to your DMARC to use this?

Unless there is a problem with either the DKIM or SPF, you should not have to change them.

Can the DMARC Report tool help improve the quality of high-volume email campaigns?

DMARC works with as few as a single email sent from any specific source. It helps you align the technical nature of DKIM/SPF and domain alignment. It does not specifically help with message volume concerns.

Can this tool be utilized to generate SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for setup purposes?

Yes on the SPF and DMARC. You probably want your sending service provider to give you their DKIM keys rather than generating them for yourself.

How do you change the email address in the account?

Contact customer support.

What happens when we exceed the email threshold? I am a very small company but even I send out 50-60k emails per week. I have to say that the number of emails in the plans feels quite low.

Based on the FAQ (https://support.dmarcreport.com/support/solutions/articles/5000877172-dmarc-message-volume) the plans are based on the complaint emails instead of email volume.

Is tier 7, 550,000/300 =1,833 emails per domain? Does the limit apply only to bad/problem emails, not every email sent?

Yes, the limits are all about all emails sent with the status compliant.

If we are a previous purchaser and got 4 codes (1+3) — I assume we can stack more?

Total of 7.
